WEEK 1-5

Below is a list of activities that I had completed for the twenty weeks of the industrial training period.

Week 1 01/12/14 – 5/12/14	v  Trainee were asked to register  along with new employer at HR Department. v  A orientation was organized to give a clear view of company background,products,management,safety and career to the trainee and employees v  Learned on installing and configuring Lotus Note for the user. v  Learned on image “ghosting” and installing.
Week 2 08/12/14 – 12/12/14	v  Temporarily, I had undergo training @ assist helpdesk tem on pc setup,keyboard or mouse replace,disable/enable of usb port/ and repairing zebra printer v  Learned about regedit,vpn,registry and server structure v  Had a small discussion to get know o my ability and skills so that I can be given a task regarding on it . v  A network tracing project have been passed to me.In this project I had to traced the network ports is connected to which tool and determine the function and his condition in switch.
Week 3 15/12/14 – 19/12/14	v  Started my 1st task by getting know on switch on getting know bout switch address, ports & condition. v  Traced out the network ports around Admin Building & Warehouse. v  Learn about network command exp:- ping,ipconfig,tracert & etc.
Week 4 22/12/14– 26/12/14	v  Traced out the network ports around Production & Shipping.Got a chance to know about wafer making process from ingot slicing until packaging. v  This task makes me to apply some logical thinking as some of the ports had been hide below the stage  in class 1 room and it was quite was complicated task.
Week 5 29/12/14 – 2/01/15	v  Managed to complete network tracing all over the plant . v  Started on update of network port in excel worksheet.Had some confusion as the ports were not tally in the sheetsn some were missing although it was connected in switch.Recheck the ports for more information. v  Company Shutdown for 3 days.
