Industrial training refers to work experience that is relevant to professional development prior to graduation. The main objective of this industrial training is to give students vast exposure to the real environment. In addition, they can enhance their knowledge and abilities at the companies they attached to and also can learn new thing that can give benefits soon. Students can apply the skills that they have gained throughout their academic year.

MEMC (Sun Edison Semiconductor Ipoh) gives many benefits and advantages since the work was both on side and office. Generally in this 5 months period, I have been familiar with IT Department. Students can gain knowledge in IT Department. MEMC (Sun Edison Semiconductor Ipoh) also provide student with induction and safety training to ensure student can be work in conducive environment. The task given by IT manager is really challenging student should take their own initiative to fulfil the task requirement.

Other than that students also can understand well about the job scope as a IT programmer. During these internship period students also tends to meet up with programming language,technical department , and a many more executive whereby they will share their experience and advices which only we can get when we go through industrial training. Industrial training helps on learning, gaining knowledge, and experiences plus share social obligation, which the experiences can be apply soon.
