PRINTER SETUP AND PC TRACKING
Some other task that I had done during my internship was new printer setup for the employes and pc tracking .
This printer was done after a 2 new
photocopy machine were placed in admin building to replace the old photocopy
machine which need to undergo some repairing.This task was passed to me from
Local Helpdesk.A id number was created for each user to track down the amount
of used and this id ere used to configure new printer setup in user’s laptop.
These are the procedures to setup new printer
Insert user printer code
in valid access to activate the printer.

Besides that ,I was asked to give a small briefing session for the employees on how to use the new printer as it have some extra features which will make the employees works to move smoothly esp in doing scanning whr it will send the image of scanned to the user’s email.
Meanwhile,I were asked to do PC tracking in
class 1.This process have been done to determine the software and hardware of
the pc .It will helps the pc helpdesk to keep in track with the amout of
pc,laptop and information regarding hardware component.
